KDSG To Empower 500 Youths In Agent Banking

As parts of its efforts to create employment opportunities and promote self-reliance among the youths in the state, KDSG has concluded plans to empower 500 youths through the Agency Banking Programme.

Kaduna Industrial and Finance Company Ltd. (KIFC) has been appointed as implementation agency to drive the programme by recruiting the 500 youths across the 23 LGAs. They will be empowered with POS gadgets and tokens.

The kaduna state financial inclusion program, will help mitigate the issue of lack of sufficient banking services in rural areas.

Kaduna State intends to solve various social and economic crises that are related to the youth through Financial inclusion within the state especially in the remote/hard areas to reach. Financial inclusion means that irrespective of income level all individuals, households and businesses have access to financial services and products that address their needs.
